Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, or purchasing products from MeVaani, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return, Refund & Replacement Policy, and any other policies published on our website.

If there is any difference between these Terms and a specific policy, the specific policy will apply for that topic.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue using our website and services.

Eligibility to Use Our Website

By using our website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or are using the website under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • All information provided by you is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • You will use our website only for lawful purposes.

Products & Product Information

MeVaani offers high-quality artificial and fashion jewellery for personal use.

We make every effort to display product images, colours, sizes, and descriptions as accurately as possible. However, please note:

  • Actual product colours may vary slightly due to monitor settings, lighting, or photography.
  • Minor variations in finish, texture, or colour are normal and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
  • All product dimensions and weights are approximate.
  • Product availability is subject to stock.

We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or update products without prior notice.

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Shipping and COD charges, if applicable, are shown separately at checkout.

While we strive to maintain accurate pricing, pricing errors may occasionally occur. In such cases, MeVaani reserves the right to:

  • Correct any pricing errors.
  • Cancel or refuse any order placed at an incorrect price.
  • Issue a full refund if payment has already been received.

Prices, discounts, promotional offers, and product availability may change without prior notice. Changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed, except in the case of a pricing error.

Shipping & COD Charges

Payment Methods

Online payments on MeVaani are securely processed through Razorpay. We currently accept:

  • UPI
  • Credit Cards
  • Debit Cards
  • Net Banking
  • Wallets (supported by Razorpay)
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) on serviceable PIN codes, with an additional COD charge of ₹20 per order.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Order Confirmation

After successfully placing an order, you will receive an Order Confirmation via Email and/or SMS containing your order details.

Order confirmation only acknowledges receipt of your order request and does not guarantee acceptance.

MeVaani reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Product unavailability.
  • Pricing or technical errors.
  • Suspected fraudulent transactions.
  • Incomplete or incorrect customer information.
  • Non-serviceable delivery locations.
  • Orders that violate our policies.

If we cancel your order after payment has been received, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Order Processing

Orders are generally processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after order confirmation (successful payment for prepaid orders, or order confirmation for COD orders). Business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

Processing timelines may occasionally be extended due to high order volumes, inventory verification, operational requirements, or unforeseen circumstances.

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled only before they are dispatched. To cancel an order:

  1. Log in to your MeVaani account.
  2. Open the Orders tab and select the order you wish to cancel.
  3. Cancel the order.

Alternatively, you can email us at mevaaniinfo@gmail.com or contact our support team with your Order ID before the order is dispatched.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be governed by our Return, Refund & Replacement Policy.

For cancelled prepaid orders, the refund will be credited to the original payment method. Refund credit timelines depend on your bank or payment provider.

Shipping & Delivery

MeVaani currently delivers across serviceable PIN codes in India through Shiprocket and its courier partners.

Estimated delivery timelines after dispatch are:

  • Metro Cities: 2–4 business days
  • Non-Metro Cities: 4–7 business days
  • Remote Locations: 7–9 business days

Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to weather conditions, public holidays, courier delays, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address and mobile number. MeVaani shall not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete details, the recipient being unavailable, or refusal of the order at delivery. In such cases, the conditions in our Shipping Policy will apply.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be shared via Email and/or SMS.

You can also track your shipment anytime on our Order Tracking Portal (also available as "Track Your Order" in our website footer).

Tracking information may take up to 24 hours after dispatch to become active, depending on the courier partner.

Returns & Replacements

Our Return, Refund & Replacement Policy forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.

Customers may request a return or replacement within 7 days from the date of delivery through our Return Portal (also available as "Return / Exchange" in our website footer), subject to the eligibility criteria in our Return Policy.

Returns or replacements are accepted only if you receive:

  • A damaged product.
  • A defective product.
  • An incorrect product.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind or personal preference.
  • Products that have been used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
  • Products returned without original packaging, tags, or accessories.
  • Requests submitted after 7 days from the delivery date.

A complete and continuous unboxing video is mandatory for all damaged, defective, or incorrect product claims. Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video will not be accepted.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed only after the returned product is received and successfully passes our quality inspection.

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used while placing the order.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Refunds will be transferred to the bank account or UPI ID you provide on the Return Portal or by email.

Refunds generally reflect within approximately 5–7 business days after the quality inspection, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Since returns are accepted only for damaged, defective, or incorrect products, the original shipping charges (if any) will be refunded along with the product amount for all approved returns.

User Accounts

You may choose to create a customer account on MeVaani to enjoy a faster checkout experience, manage addresses, view your order history, and cancel orders before dispatch.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login details.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities performed through your account.

MeVaani reserves the right to suspend or terminate customer accounts found to be involved in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities.

Reviews & User Content

When you submit product reviews, ratings, photos, or other content on our website, you confirm that the content is genuine, based on your own experience, and does not violate any law or third-party rights.

You grant MeVaani permission to display and use such content on our website and social media channels. We reserve the right to remove any content that is false, offensive, misleading, or unrelated to our products.

Intellectual Property

All content available on the MeVaani website, including but not limited to product images, product descriptions, graphics, logos, icons, website design, layouts, videos, trademarks, and other materials, is the exclusive property of MeVaani or its licensors.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or republish our content without prior written permission.
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or brand identity without authorization.
  • Use product images or website content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

Prohibited Activities

While using the MeVaani website, you agree not to engage in any activity that may harm our business, customers, or website. You must not:

  • Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website, servers, or customer accounts.
  • Upload or distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
  • Interfere with the proper functioning or security of the website.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape or collect website data without permission.
  • Impersonate another individual or provide false information while placing an order.
  • Misuse promotional offers, discounts, or coupon codes.
  • Repeatedly place COD orders and refuse them at delivery.
  • Submit false or misleading return, refund, or damage claims.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension of your account, cancellation of orders, restriction of Cash on Delivery for future orders, or legal action where applicable.

Third-Party Services

Our website uses trusted third-party service providers to operate efficiently and provide a secure shopping experience. These include:

  • Shopify – Ecommerce platform that powers our online store.
  • Razorpay – Secure online payment processing.
  • Shiprocket – Shipping, delivery, order tracking, and return management.

These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. MeVaani is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party platforms.

Disclaimer

We strive to keep all information on our website accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all product descriptions, pricing, images, availability, or other content will always be completely accurate, current, or error-free.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MeVaani shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or products.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights available under applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Force Majeure

MeVaani shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to perform any obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or severe weather conditions.
  • Government restrictions or regulations.
  • Public holidays or strikes.
  • Pandemics or epidemics.
  • Courier or logistics disruptions.
  • Internet, server, or technical failures.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the MeVaani website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Changes to These Terms

MeVaani reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Any updates will be published on this page along with the revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
